4.4 Implementing Step-by-Step Wavelength Scanning
Subject Wavelength scanning enables the T100S-HP tunable laser to broadcast on a different
wavelength at each time interval. It incrementally scans the entire wavelength scanning
range that you specified.
The following flowchart illustrates the wavelength scan process:

Starting from the first wavelength (i.e the lower wavelength limit that you set), the
emission wavelength increases incrementally (you set the wavelength increment stored
in the STEP parameter) up to the last wavelength value (upper wavelength limit that you
set).
During each scan interval, the T100S-HP laser broadcast at a set wavelength for the
duration specified by the Pause Timer parameter that you set.

Operating parameters cannot be changed while the wavelength scanning is in progress.
Make sure the power output level you set can be achieved within the maximum current
limits over the entire scanning range. If the desired power output cannot be reached due
to current limitations, the
Lim message is displayed to indicate that the system no longer
operates at constant power.
