Service Profile Configuration
SLA/Transmit
The SLA (Service-Level Agreement) parameters allows defining the
pass/fail verdict thresholds for the service. Use the EIR, Max Jitter, Max
Latency, and Frame Loss check boxes to enable the pass/fail verdict for
these parameters. The CIR parameter is also used for the pass/fail verdict.

SERVICE : If enabled, the configuration for the selected service will be
applied to the service stream. However, the service will be generated
only when at least one of the test (
Service Configuration Test or
Service Performance Test
) is enabled and the test is running (started).
Note: Up to 10 services can be enabled one after the other, as long as the total
bandwidth is not reached (
Committed ). For example, if the first service is
using the full bandwidth available, then no other service can be enabled.
However, if the first enabled service uses half bandwidth, then at least
another service can be enabled using up to half bandwidth. Thus, to enable
a second service, first set the CIR value within the non-used bandwidth
(
Available ), then enable it.
Note:
If SERVICE is enabled for any stream, that stream button will be highlighted
with a green border.
Note:
The configuration of the services including MAC/IP/UDP, and VLAN must be
completed before to enable the
SERVICE .

CIR
(Committed Information Rate) allows to set the service rate
guaranteed by the SLA.

EIR
(Excess Information Rate) allows to set the best effort allowed
traffic for the service.
