FTB-700G/800 Series

RFC 2544 - Subtests

Frame Loss Configuration 

The objective of this test is to find the percentage of frames that are lost 
due to lack of resources. Starting at the specified maximum rate (

Max. 

Rate

), the test is performed for a specific frame size and for the specified 

duration 

(Trial Duration)

. The test is repeated by decreasing the rate by 

10 percent, then the test is repeated again until there are two successive 
trials in which no frames are lost. The test is performed for each defined 
frame size.

 is the maximum rate the test should begin with, in terms of 

a percentage of the line rate (
