Section 10: Power Ratings

When selecting a power supply for an application it is necessary to ensure it operates within
its power capabilities by taking into account both Temperature Derating and Input Voltage
Derating. The CoolX1800 will deliver 100% rated power from -20 to 40degC and 50% output
power up at 70°C. Input Voltage Derating and Temperature Derating curves are shown below.
