5.4 Machine configuration (system)
In the System menu the user can set the basic machine configuration.

5.4.1 Power-saving mode (Standby)
You can activate the power-saving mode by setting a parameter in the configuration menu (time-control-
led power-saving mode). When power-saving mode is active, the Expert XQ 2.0 machine controller dis-
play is dimmed and only the middle digit of the display is shown in the wire feed unit. Pressing any opera-
ting element (e.g. tapping the torch trigger) deactivates power-saving mode and the machine is ready for
welding again.
