Identification media
Figure 169 - Tile identification media
Identification media are used both to open doors when authorisation is available, and to
transport system-specific security data between the EVVA access components and the
management software via the virtual network XVN (Xesar virtual network).
7.11.1
New identification medium
By placing a new Xesar identification medium on the coding station, the following
input field appears:
Figure170 - New identification medium
ID
(identifier or code, non-mandatory field)
:
You can assign the identification medium an
identification media identifier (e.g. „Hans Huber Garage“, „Visitor 1“ oder „Room 23“). The
assignment or modification of an ID is possible at any time in the identification medium
detail view in the Xesar software.
ATTENTION:
The identifier of an identification medium is not anonymised when
the access (personal reference) is not to be recorded. This means that the label
should not include a personal reference e.g.
Hans Huber
. This is the responsibil-
ity of the user who assigns the IDs to the identification media.
