AirKey uses push notifications to change smartphone data and consequently
update smartphones automatically. We cannot guarantee all push notifica-
tions can be received correctly. For this reason, check whether the notifica-
tions have been received and (if applicable) update your smartphone man-
ually.

The smartphone updates automatically as soon as you start the AirKey app
or once a day if you have already started the AirKey app.

8.3

Updating media

You can update any AirKey medium, regardless of its association to a locking system.
You can update with smartphones or optionally available coding stations. Updates with
the smartphone merely require the installed AirKey app and registration in an AirKey
locking system. Follow the on-screen instructions to update an AirKey medium (except
smartphones) with the smartphone:
