READER FUNCTIONS 

3.5.1.  Setting the Active Reader – Reader Assignment 

RDR ASSIGNMENT 

 

The 

RDR ASSIGNMENT

  menu is used to select whether the LTC or 

VITC reader will be used in the momentary and continuous Jam Sync 
modes.  The reader that is active will be shown in brackets e.g. (ltc) the 
front panel display.  The reader data from the inactive reader will still be 
visible from the front panel and VCG windows but will have no effect on 
the generator time in the jam sync modes, or user bits in the user bit 
transfer modes.

have equal priority.  The current active reader will continue reading as 
long as there is a valid input present. The current active reader will be 
shown in brackets.
