6.16. TELNET CONTROL TAB
The
Telnet Ports
menu allows the user to configure the input/output settings of Telnet.

6.16.1. Port x Control
6.16.1.1. Telnet Client Status
Displays whether a Telnet Client is connected or disconnected.
6.16.1.2. Telnet Enable
The
Telnet Enable
control allows the user to enable or disable the Telnet port.
6.16.2. Telnet x Permission Control
The
Telnet x Permission
option allows the user to enable/disable CEA-608 and CEA-708 services for
each Telnet port. CEA-608 services include

T1
,
T2
,
T3
,
T4
, and
XDS
. CEA-708
includes services

through
16
. Each of these services can be enabled or disabled separately. All
services are enabled by default.
6.16.3. Telnet Setup
6.16.3.1. Telnet Login Enable
This control allows the user to enable or disable the Telnet Login. If Telnet Login is disabled, the Telnet
Client will be immediately presented with a Control-A prompt upon connection.
The
Telnet Login
and
Password
fields allow the user to enter username and password information.
