3. FIRMWARE

3.1. Upda

ng Firmware Using Emote



Note

The

ﬁ

rmware update process is the same for H9000 and H9000R units.

Your H9000 must be connected to Emote to update. This can be via a networked connec

on using

ethernet or Wi-Fi, or a direct ethernet connec

on to your computer. Do not interrupt the network

connec

on to your H9000 or close Emote during the update process.

Once a connec

on to Emote has been established:

Go to the Devices View (the bu

on labeled 9K in the menu bar) and locate the H9000 Firmware

window at the bo

om le

corner of the page.

Click on “Updates” and you will be presented with a list of available

ﬁ

rmware updates to choose

from.
Select a

ﬁ

rmware version and click the “Install” bu

on; a pop-up message will con

ﬁ

rm that you are

upda

ng your H9000’s

ﬁ

rmware. The

ﬁ

rst progress bar will indicate that the

ﬁ

rmware update

ﬁ

le is

being downloaded and sent to the H9000. The second progress bar will indicate that the

ﬁ

rmware

is being installed on the H9000. This will also be re

ﬂ

ected on the front panel.

Once the

ﬁ

rmware update has been successfully installed, you will be prompted to restart your

H9000, which will complete the update process.
Please restart Emote a

er the H9000 has rebooted before a

emp

ng to connect to an H9000

that has just been updated.

In the event that you need to downgrade your H9000’s

ﬁ

rmware, please contact

support@even

de.com

and we will provide you with the correct

ﬁ

rmware version to install via the o

ﬄ

ine USB updater.
