Control Board 

The Control Board offers several features: you can easily set the starting address or the brightness. 
 
Browse through the main menu by pressing MODE. You can browse through the selection menu and confirm 
your choice by pressing ENTER. You can change the selection by pressing UP or DOWN. The functions 
provided are described in the following sections. 
 
 

Setting DMX channel mode: 

The device has 2 DMX channel modes. Press the MODE 
button until the display shows CHANNEL. Press the ENTER 
button. You can select the DMX channel mode CH03 or 
CH01 via the UP or DOWN button. Confirm your choice by 
pressing ENTER. 

 

 
 

Dimmer curves (8 types): 

Press the MODE button until the display shows DIMMER. 
Press the ENTER button. You can select the dimmer 
CURVE: 01-08 via the UP or DOWN buttons (s. 
illustration). Confirm your choice by pressing ENTER. 
 

 

Dimming Curves options: 

 

     Linear

 

 

LINEAR: 

the increase in light intensity appear to be linear as DMX value is increased.

 

SQUARE LAW: 

light intensity control is finer at low levels and coarser at high levels

 

INVERSE SQUARE LAW: 

light intensity control is coarser at low levels and finer at high levels 

S-CURVE: 

light intensity control is fine at low levels and high levels and coarser at medium levels. 

 
The dimmer curves described above are available in two different versions – with the response 
characteristics of halogen lamps (dimmer curve 01 – 04) and response characteristics of LEDs (dimmer 
curve 05 – 08). 
 
 

PWM (Pulse-width modulation): 

Press the MODE button until the display shows 
FREQUENC. Press the ENTER button. You can select the 
desired PWM frequency of the LED to 1200 Hz, 1300 Hz, 
1400 Hz, 1500 Hz, 2500 Hz, 4000 Hz, 5000 Hz, 6000 Hz, 
10000 Hz, 15000 Hz, 20000 Hz or 25000 Hz via the UP or 
DOWN buttons. Confirm your choice by pressing ENTER. 

 
 

Slave Mode: 

 

Press the MODE button to select the SLAVE MODE. The 
devices set in this manner can now be controlled by the 
master unit (s. chapter Master/Slave-operation).
