Never use the device during thunderstorms. Over voltage could destroy the device. Always disconnect the
device during thunderstorms.
The symbol

determines the minimum distance from lighted objects. The minimum distance
between light-output and the illuminated surface must be more than 0.1 meters.
Make sure that the area below the installation place is blocked when rigging, derigging or servicing the fixture.

Operate the device only after having become familiarized with its functions. Do not permit operation by
persons not qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!
If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like short-
circuit, burns, electric shock, crash etc.
INSTALLATION
In order to design the desired patterns, draw the form onto the surface or wrap the LED Ribbon SMD5050
around the desired form and attach the LED Ribbon SMD5050 with adhesive tape or a few drops of glue.
Connect the cables of the LED Ribbon SMD5050 to the LED Ribbon SMD5050 Controller with IR receiver.
The cable color determines the LED color; the black cable is the common "+".
Please note:

LED Ribbon SMD5050 can be controlled with a single transformer.
Connect the LED Ribbon SMD5050 Controller to the transformer. Now connect the transformer to the power
cable.
Connect the Euro plug to the power mains. Make sure that the outlet is in a dry area.
CONTROL VIA IR REMOTE
The Controller has several buttons with following functions:
RGB+W:
Static light with 4 shades each plus white (16 colors in total)
Flash:
Green – blue - red
Strobe:
Green – blue - red – turquois – pink – yellow - white
Fade:
Green – blue - red
Smooth:
Green – blue - red – green – blue - red - white

Speed up (1...9 steps)
:
Speed down (1...9 steps)
The IR remote features a memory function. The last program selected will begin anew when the device is
restarted.
Please note:
Never run the LED Ribbons SMD5050 in the packaging or rolled up!
