SETUP
Placing the device
Place the product as desired and adjust the tilt angle via the folding foot. The device is only suitable for floor-
mounted use, standing device without mounting bracket.
Changing the beam angle
With the delivery of the device you will receive a frost filter, with which the beam angle can be changed from
9° to approx. 22°. If you want to change the beam angle of the device, attach the filter to the top of the device
using the two knurled screws. Make sure the screws are tightened to prevent accidental release of the frost
filter.
DMX512 CONTROL
Via DMX-cable
A DMX512 data link is required in order to control the device via DMX. The device provides 3-pin XLR
connectors for DMX connection.
1 Connect the output of your DMX controller to the DMX input DMX IN of the light set with a DMX cable.
2 Connect the DMX output DMX OUT of the light set to the DMX input of the next unit in the chain. Always
connect one output to the input of the next unit until all units are connected.
3 At the last unit, the DMX cable has to be terminated. Plug the terminator with a 120 Ω resistor between
Signal (–) and Signal (+) in the DMX output of the last unit.
4 If the cable length exceeds 300 m or the number of DMX devices is greater than 32, it is recommended
to insert a DMX level amplifier to ensure proper data transmission.
XLR connection:
Via QuickDMX
Connect the transmitters to the DMX controller. Put each transmitter and the device into operation. Use the
buttons of the control board to set the function "WIRELESS" - "POWER" to "ON".
The QuickDMX status indicator shortly flashes red, green and blue. Afterward, it lights up permanently
according to the selected transmission channel.
Set each transmitter and receiver to the same transmission channel using the function “WIRELESS” -“ID
Set”.
