INSTALLATION
Installing/Replacing the lamp
DANGER! Electric shock caused by high voltages
Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Always disconnect the
device from the mains socket prior to installing or replacing a lamp.
WARNING! Risk of burns in case of inappropriate handling of the illuminant
The illuminant reaches temperatures up to 600° C. Allow the illuminant to cool down for at least
10 minutes before starting any maintenance or replacement. Wear protective clothing (protection
glasses, protection gloves, helmet with sight) when replacing the lamp.
The device must only be operated with an illuminant type OSRAM SIRIUS HRI 371W discharge lamp. Do not
install illuminants with a higher wattage! Illuminants with a higher wattage generate temperatures the device
was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty. Observe the safety
instructions of the illuminant manufacturer.
The lamp life given by the manufacturer must never be exceeded. This is why you need to take notes on the
operational time of the lamp or check the operating hour meter regularly and replace the lamp in time.
Store dismantled lamps in a splinter-proof container and dispose of them properly!
During the installation do not touch the glass-bulb bare-handed!
Procedure:
Unscrew the 12 housing screws (6
standard Philips on each side) on the
projector head and remove the projector
head cover.
