The cover glasses adhere to the slides.
13) Remove the slide carrier from the cover glass carrier.
14) Remove the slides from the slide carrier.
15) Dry off the back and all 4 edges of the slides with a paper towel.
16) Check the correct position of the cover glasses on the slides.
The slides are ready for evaluation.
6.4 Filling or draining the containers
MERGITE! has an automatic monitoring function for the fill levels of
the containers. If a critical fill level is reached, you will be prompted to
fill or drain the container.
Draining the waste liquid container
If the fill level of the waste liquid container reaches its upper limit, it
must be drained. You can do this between the washing operations,
as described here. Or, you will be automatically prompted by the
software to drain the container.
WARNING – BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCES
The caps of the containers have a pressure compensation hole. If
liquid is discharged from the waste liquid container, there is a risk
of contamination with biological substances.

Transport the container upright and carefully.

Immediately wipe up any spilled liquid with a paper towel.
