• The weather station is suitable only for dry indoor areas.
• The outdoor sensor is designed for outdoor use. However, it should not be used
underwater.
• Only use the product in temperate climates. It is not suitable for use in tropical
climates.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation that forms might destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
may take several hours.
• In schools, educational facilities and hobby or DIY workshops, the product must be
operated under the supervision of qualified personnel.
• Do not open/dismantle the product (except for inserting/changing the batteries as
described in these instructions).
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the (rechargeable) battery.
• The (rechargeable) batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used
for a long period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged
batteries may cause acid burns if they come into contact with your skin. Always
use suitable protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying
around, as there is a risk that children or pets may swallow them.
• All (rechargeable) batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and
new (rechargeable) batteries in the device can lead to (rechargeable) battery
leakage and device damage.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into open flames.
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. This may cause an explosion!

Intended use
The product displays the indoor and outdoor temperature as well as air humidity indoors and
outdoors. The weather station also has an acoustic and optical cold alarm, a trend display
for temperature and air humidity, a HI/LO alarm for temperature and air humidity as well as
a comfort display. The current temperature can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The
weather station can be operated with a total of up to three outside sensors.
Use is permitted in closed rooms only. Do not use it in the open-air. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the operating instructions
carefully and store them in a safe place. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand
over these operating instructions as well.

a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

sensor transmits relatively weak radio signals, they could cause malfunctions in
