• At the side of the tent, stake out the
web loops at each pole end. Work
your way around the tent, adjust
the stakes, pulling the fabric taut to
square the tent and remove floor
wrinkles.
See fig. 9
• This is a tension tent, therefore, do
not depend upon staking alone to
keep your tent upright and secure .
It’s IMPORTANT that you properly guy out this tent. See fig.11
1. The Tundraline has 4 triangular guy lines, one at each corner attached to
a pole sleeve. Pull out and stake these first.
2. Next, pull out and stake the 2 guys that lead from the peak at each end.
3. Pull out and stake down the last 2 guy lines from the sidewall .
• If necessary, adjust the tension on
the vestibule webs to trim the roof.
See fig.10.
• Also, if necessary, move the sliders
to adjust the tension on the guy
lines to properly trim the tent walls.
See fig.11
• Move to the opposite end of the
tent. Grasp the vestibule web
/loop and pull the tent fabric
taut to raise the structure. This
is not a freestanding tent. Therefore, you must stake out this web loop before
proceeding.

REV. B 4.09
ASSEMBLY OF THE
TUNDRALINE TENT:
Take down: Open doors and pull up stakes.
Pull posts out of the grommets
.
Remove the poles, collapse them and stow. Fold the tent into thirds. Lay the
poles across the tent, roll up both towards a door and stow all.
• Assemble one half of a
shockcorded pole. Try
to prevent pole sections
from snapping
together, as this can
damage the pole ends.
Make certain each
insert end has seated
firmly into its ferrule.
Do not drop tent bag or pole bag on its end. Do not bounce tent bag
on its end to get the tent out. These actions may cut the shock cord
and/or damage the pole ends.
• Slide the assembled pole half into the sleeve. Push the pole and pull the
sleeve toward you, until the locking end tip pokes out from the opposite side.
See fig. 2 and 3
ASSEMBLY:
• Unpack the carry bag and separate all the parts. Unroll and unfold the
tent and lay it on the ground with the black side down. If windy, place
A
into the wind. Stake down the web loop at
A.
See fig. 1
• There is a locking post at each end
of the poles. Fit these posts into
the web grommets at the sleeve
ends to create an arch and
maintain tension.
See fig. 5 and 6
• If not already staked, go to one
end of the tent and drive a
stake through the web loop at
the bottom of a vestibule.
See fig. 7
A
fig.2
• Push the rest of the pole into the
sleeve, assembling it as you work.
See fig.4
• Repeat this with the second pole and
sleeve at the other end of the tent .
