Li-ion batteries are made from flammable materials and have the potential to introduce fire and explosion
hazards from failure modes that may ignite the battery.

Lithium Ion batteries can be hazardous and cause fires if not used properly. Batteries contain chemicals
which can be altered and destabilized if they are exposed to very low or high temperatures causing
explosions and fire. Batteries can also explode if they are opened, modified, punctured, dropped or
