Serial to IP gateway configuration 

15.1

 

Overview 

The IPL provides optionally 1 or 2 serial RS232, RS232, RS485 or RS422 ports. 
 
A serial gateway can be assigned to each port . 

 
A serial gateway makes possible to use  the IP network to transport serial data between two or several serial 
devices or directly with devices connected to the Ethernet network.
