Setting up the UMTS connection

•

Select the configuration menu, and then WAN interface, and Modem.

Select the enable checkbox.

Enter the APN string.

•

Select the configuration menu, and then WAN interface, and Connection.

Enter the Login and the password provided by the UMTS provider.

If the IPL-3G router must connect to the Internet, let the three checkbox selected :
“Obtain an IP address automatically”, “Obtain DNS servers automatically”, “Activate
network address translation (NAT)”.

•

Check the Reception indicator

is now permanently ON. It signifies the IPL-3G is now

connected to the UMTS network.

Remark : If the IPL-3G must connect to a private netxork, report to the user manual for
detailed informatios about that page.

The IPL-3G provides numerous useful functions to build a reliable and secure
wireless industrial network.
