The
Global Config
fields are read-only, and display the enabled/disabled OAM state,
the Fiber Port state and the MAC addresses of the local and remote units in the OAM
manageable pair.
The
Flags Field
display the local and remote results of individual events. The
Remote
Stable
(Local and Remote) fields are used with the
Remote Evaluating
(Local and
Remote) fields to show the current discovery status. Refer to the table below.

Critical Event
: A value of “True” indicates that a critical event has occurred. “False”
indicates that a critical event has not occurred.
Dying Gasp
: A value of “True” indicates that an unrecoverable failure condition (such as
power loss) has occurred. “False” indicates that no failure condition has occurred.
Link Fault
: A value of “True” indicates that the local device’s receive path has detected
a fault. “False” indicates that no fault was detected.
