1. Use the #2 Phillips screwdriver to loosen the captured screw in the fan door, and open the
door.
2. Remove the dust filter from the fixture.
3. Clean the dust filter by vacuuming, using compressed air, or washing with mild soap and
water.
Note:
If you clean the dust filter with soap and water, ensure the dust filter is dry
before you return it to the fixture.
4. Clean the fans.
a. Use a vacuum to clean the protective screens.
b. Use a vacuum or compressed air to clean the fans.
Note:
If you use compressed air to clean the fans, hold the fans in place while
cleaning them. Letting the fans spin while using compressed air could damage the
fans.
5. Install the dust filter in the fixture.
6. Close the fan door and tighten the captured screw.
7. Repeat this procedure to clean the fans and dust filter on the other side of the fixture.
Clean the Mirror
Clean the mirror and the output window only when necessary, and only use a Silky Microfiber
Optical Cloth with purified water or an ammonia-free glass cleaner such as Miller Stevenson
MS-260 Glass Cleaner.
Replace the Fuse
The fuse in this fixture is not user-replaceable. Contact ETC Technical Services for assistance.
