6. Settings
The centre of balance can be adjusted by changing
the position of the rear wheels.
- Move the rear wheel attachment forwards or back-
wards or rotate the camber washer.
Also check the brakes - see section “Brake, adjust-
ment”.

When the position of the rear wheels is moved for-
wards the wheelchair becomes much more manoeu-
vrable, but the tendency to tip backwards increases.

The centre of balance is also altered when the seat
and/or back support angle are adjusted.
We recommend the use of anti-tips.
Ensure that rear wheels with quick release hubs are
mounted securely.
