5. Have the individual sit on the Clean
Shower/ Commode Chair in their
normal sitting position, with the foot
support properly adjusted.
4. Listen (or place your hand in
front of the valve) to confirm that
deflation has stopped. Turn the valve
clockwise
to close.
3. Remove the hand pump. Do not
close the valve. Allow air to escape
from the valve.
1. Turn the valve
counter-clockwise
to open.
2. Place the hand-pump hose over the
valve. Inflate until the cushion arches
slightly.
Check Inflation:
After atmospheric
adjustment, check to
confirm that there is
no contact between the
individual and the base
of the cushion.
