The appliance is ready for cleaning in about 30 seconds, because the appliance does not
need to heat up the entire water tank, but it only pumps and heats a small volume of water.
To activate steam (
after 30 seconds at the earliest!
), it is necessary to press the steam
release button
A3
(if the appliance is used as a handheld steam cleaner), or the steam
release button
C2
(if the appliance is used as a steam mop). The built in pump will gradually
start pumping water from the tank
A4
, and the appliance will start producing hot steam.
You may partially regulate the steam intensity by slight rotation of the temperature switch
and regulator
A1
(in „+“ direction, steam intensity is higher; in „–“ direction, steam intensity
is lower).
If you see a considerable decrease in steam production and low water level in the water
tank during use, water must be replenished (see “
Water filling
”).
Note
– After the first use or after interrupting the cleaning for several minutes, direct the
steam flow into the container to remove excessive water from the accessories (such
water is produced by the steam condensation). When steam is produced, always aim
the steam flow down at the floor.
– In the case of a long operation time and the maximum steam intensity, hot water may
squirt from the appliance along with steam. In such case, interrupt your work, and
continue after a while.
– When the minimum steam production intensity is set and the cleaner is used for
a long time, the heating element in the steam production unit will start cycling, and
the steam flow released from the nozzle is unstable. This is normal and there is no
reason for filing a complaint.
– When mopping/cleaning sensitive surfaces (such as parquets, glass or textiles),
set the steam intensity to a lower level, and only increase it if resistant stains or dirt are
to be cleaned. Do not activate steam for too long when mopping, because the mopped
surface could become soaked too much.
– Set a higher steam intensity when brush adapters are used, and for very resistant
stains/dirt.
– Depending on soiling intensity, you can use water or detergent in the mop tank
D2
.
It can be activated by stepping on the foot button of additional spraying
D1
.
– We recommend vacuuming the dry surface (for example upholstery, floor) before cleaning.
After finishing cleaning
1) Switch off the appliance by pressing
ON/OFF
switch; operation light indicator
A2
will turn off.
2) Disconnect the power cord from the mains.
3) Let the appliance and accessories cool down.
4) Pour out the excessive water, and let the water tank
A4
dry out.
If you use the mop variant, also empty the mopping adapter tank.
5) Remove the accessories/textiles, and store the appliance.
