Switch on the appliance by turning the power switch. When the indicator light turns on, the appliance

OFF:
OFF Position. No Power.
L (LOW):
For simmering delicate foods, thickening sauces and slow cooking.
M (Medium): For simmering large quantities and for shallow frying.
H (High):
For rapid heating and boiling.

The light will go off when the hotplate reaches the selected temperature, and will the alternate
between on and off to maintain the temperature.

When not in use, always turn the control to the OFF position and disconnect from the power outlet.
CARE AND CLEANING

Clean the painted surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild household cleaning powder.

Food spills on the hotplate can be removed with a household cleaner. Switch the hotplate on for a
moment to dry after cleaning, then switch off.

The use of commercially available hotplate cleaners is recommended to preserve the natural finish of
