3.3.3 Operation
The low humidity range for this chamber can be obtained by setting Time Signal 9 and Time Signal 10
“ON”.
Note: Please see Platinous User’s Manual for operation of Time Signals.
The controller must be in humidity mode to operate the controlled low humidity system.
The length of time required to reach a low humidity setpoint will vary greatly depending upon what
temperature and humidity the chamber was at before going to low humidity.
3.3.4 Troubleshooting
Unusual States Causes Remedies
Burnout protector trips frequently
during low humidity operation. Water level in small humidity pan
is low.
Refer to User Manual
Cannot make low humidity dur-
ing low humidity operation. Dry air package not operating
properly.
Confirm that air is being supplied
to the chamber within the speci-
fied pressure range.
Confirm that air is flowing from
pipe into workspace.
3.3.5 Specifications
Model ES-LH ES-LH4
Purpose: To allow low humidity operation of the chamber.
Performance
Temperature Constancy: +/- 0.8°C
Humidity Constancy: +/- 5% RH
Temperature Uniformity: +/- 2.0°C
Humidity Uniformity: +/- 5% RH
Operation:
Operated from Time Signal No. 9 and No. 10 (relay set 9 and 10) in the con-
troller.
System:
Heatless Desiccant dry air supplied to the chamber (Time Signal No. 9) and an
additional humidity pan and heater for control at low humidity (Time Signal No.
10).
Location:
Dry air package is located on the right side of the chamber.
