7.3.5 Programming of Device Parameters
Attention: Programming device type parameters is available only from access level 3!
The MAGPRO16 fire alarm addressable panel operates with full range of MAGPRO addressable detectors, call points,
sounders and modules via MAGPRO communication protocol. According the type of the device, the setting parameters
are different. Use the descriptions below to set the devices in your system configuration.
To set parameters of a device go to its address number in the DEVICES SETUP menu (the editable address number is
blinking) and press ‘ENTER’.
Note:
You can make the device settings also for NEW and DISABLED devices.
Association to a zone number
. The first editable parameter is setting the zone number for this device. Use the up
and down arrows to set the zone number according your specific system configuration. By default all devices are
associated to Zone 1.
Entering of a specific name.
The installer can enter a specific name for every device. The name can be up to 40
digits long and it is entered on the second row. Use the left and right arrows to move the cursor. The symbols (small
and capital letters and characters) are set with the up and down arrows. Confirm the entered name with ‘ENTER”. See
also the APPENDIX B.
Button (2) ON/ OFF LED
– Turns on the LED of the device when checking for the presence of doubling addresses in
the loop.
Use the functional digit buttons to enter the respective submenus according the type of the selected device.
MAGPRO SD1
– Optical-smoke detector
Use the functional buttons to set the following parameters:
(1) SENSITIVITY
(2) ON/ OFF LED

Press to switch on/ off the device LED.
(3) TEST
(4) ON/ OFF LED BLINK

Alternatively changes the status of the
device LED indication.
(1) SENSITIVITY
– Press the button to enter the submenu for setting
the sensitivity level of the smoke chamber for DAY and NIGHT alarm
mode.
Use the functional buttons (2) and (3) to select the sensitivity level:
Normal/ Middle/ Low/ High. All set sensitivity levels are confirmed wit
ENTER button.
(3) TEST
– Press the button to enter in a new screen for checking of
the following current parameters:

Smoke
: Shows in percent the current level of smoke in the
detector’s smoke chamber

Pollution
: Shows in percent the current level of pollution in the
detector’s smoke chamber. The exit to the main screen is with pressing the CANCEL button.
MAGPRO HD1
– Heat Detector
Use the functional buttons to set the following parameters:
(1) CLASS
(2) ON/ OFF LED

Press to switch on/ off the device LED.
(3) TEST
(4) ON/ OFF LED BLINK
–
Alternatively changes the status of the
device LED indication.
(1) CLASS
–
Press the button to enter the submenu for setting the
class for DAY and NIGHT alarm mode. Use the functional buttons (2)
and (3) to select the class: A1R/ A2S/ BS. The selected class is
confirmed with ENTER button.
