Appendix CAN-CBX-CPU5201-PLC

7.2 Network Configuration

Default Configuration:
IP-Address:

192.168.1.1

Net mask: 

255.255.255.0

Gateway:

0.0.0.0

7.2.1 Configuration of the Network Settings

The network settings can be configured via the program ESDCP or via a web-browser.

Configuration via ESDCP:

•

Start   the   program  

qesdcp.exe

  (contained   in   the   scope   of   delivery   of   the   CAN-CBX-

CPU5201-PLC) on an Windows PC, which is connected to LAN.

•

Click the button 

Discover

 -> The CAN-CBX-CPU5201-PLC is shown in the list view when it is

detected.

•

Choose the CAN-CBX-CPU5201-PLC.

•

In the lower part of the window you can change the parameters via a double-click.

•

Activate 

Reset Device

 now and then click 

Apply Changes

.

•

Enter the device password 
(Default password: "plc_1975").

•

The CAN-CBX-CPU5201-PLC reboots and will  be afterwards accessible with  the the new
network settings.

Configuration via  a web-browser:

•

Start the URL of the CAN-CBX-CPU5201-PLC in your web-browser: 
http://<ip-address>

Note:

The configuration via a web-browser is only possible if the IP-address is known and 
accessible.

•

If   the   login   page   is   displayed   in   your   browser,   enter   the   user   name   "admin"   (cannot   be
changed) and the default password "plc_1975" to login. 

Note:

ESDCP and web-interface use the same password. It can be changed via the web-
interface if required.
