3.4.1.2 Entering
Mode
To create or modify a subscriber policy, from the Global Configuration
mode, enter the following command:
subscriber-policy policy_name
policy_name
The name of the subscriber policy. It can be up to
15 alphanumeric characters.
The next prompt is
config-subscr
.
Any change in this mode is not applied in real time but only when leaving
the current mode by running the exit command or explicitly requesting
change by running the apply command. However, the current mode can be
exited without saving by running the abort command.
3.4.1.3 Commands
3.4.1.3.1 broadcast
Description
This command enables the flooding of broadcast frames.
This includes broadcast frames for ARP, DHCP, or PPP. Enabling flooding
of broadcast frames automatically enables flooding of broadcast frames for
ARP, DHCP, or PPP. Disabling flooding of broadcast frames does not
affect broadcast frames for ARP, DHCP, or PPP.
Flooding of broadcast frames for ARP can be enabled by using the
broadcast-arp
command. Flooding of broadcast frames for DHCP can
be enabled by using the
broadcast-dhcp
command. Flooding of
broadcast frames for PPP can be enabled by using the
broadcast-ppp
command.
