Choose the Interface Type from the same named drop down list. For Quadro 3.1
software, the only selection in this list is the “User” mode.
5.
Select the Coding Type according to your ISP settings.
6.
Select the Passive Mode checkbox if your ISP requires. Checkbox selection allows to leave
the ISDN Layer1 connection in the Slave mode. When checkbox is selected, Layer1 remains
idle when no calls are available, otherwise, when checkbox is not selected Quadro keeps its
Layer1 always active.

ISDN trunk configuration using DDI
Direct Dialling Inward (DDI) is used when lines are connected to a PBX to allow incoming calls
to be routed directly to an extension by dialling the appropriate number. This is instead of the
caller having to dial a switchboard operator and being transferred through to the person /
department they are calling.
To configure Quadro’s ISDN trunk using DDI, following configuration need to be done:
1.
Enter ISDN Wizard, by selecting the appropriate trunk from the list and pressing Settings
functional button from the ISDN Trunk Settings page toolbar.
