Dampen the cleaning stick with cleaning fluid.
When doing this, do not allow cleaning liquid
to drip from the cleaning stick.

Do not use cleaning liquid that you have
already used for cleaning to clean the
next time. Using dirty cleaning liquid
will make staining worse.

Used cleaning liquid is industrial waste.
Dispose of them in the same way as for
waste inks.

After using the cleaning liquid, tightly
close the lid of the cleaning liquid and
store it at room temperature out of direct
sunlight and away from high
temperatures or humidity.
Cleaning Around the Print Head
When a message is displayed on the control panel
screen informing you that it is time to clean around
the print head, follow the steps below to clean it.
Before starting this procedure, be sure to read the
following:

Important:
When a message is displayed on the control panel

around the print head, clean it immediately.
Print quality will decline if you continue to use
the printer.

Press
Start
when a message is displayed on the
control panel screen informing you that it is
time to clean the area around the print head.
The print head moves to the maintenance
position on the left.

Make sure there is a notification on the screen
asking you to open the maintenance cover, and
then open the maintenance cover on the left.

Check if the area around the print head is dirty.
If the area is dirty as shown in the photo, it
needs to be cleaned. Go to step 4.
If it is not dirty, then proceed to step 8.

Dampen the cleaning stick with cleaning fluid.
Use new cleaning sticks and cleaning fluid.
