Changing settings during
printing
You can change the following settings during printing.

Correct the media feed amount
❏
Set the temperature for the curing heater/platen

Drying Time

The following example explains how to change the
temperature setting for each heater, and how to
correct the media feed amount when banding occurs
in the printouts.
Changing the temperature for
each heater
A
Press
in the
Settings
area of the
startup adjustment screen.
The area for changing the temperature for each
heater is displayed.
You can also change this setting by pressing the
heater temperature area on the home screen.

Choose a value.
Press
/
below the image of the heater
for which you want to change the temperature.

When you press
, the area for
changing the set temperature closes, and the
settings are updated for the currently selected
registered media.
The value of the temperature for the curing
heater is retained for each Pass Mode of the
selected registered media number. The value
for the currently selected Pass Mode is updated
with the value changed here.
Note:
The time needed for the heaters to reach the
specified temperatures varies with the ambient
temperature.
Correcting Banding
When you want to correct banding during printing,
correct the media feed amount.
A
During printing, press the following area on the
startup adjustment screen.
If the startup adjustment screen is not
displayed, press
(switch screens) on the
home screen.

Press
/
on the screen, or press the
/
buttons on the control panel to change the
value.
If the feed amount is too small, black bands
(dark stripes) appear; press the
(or
button) to adjust the feed amount upwards.
In contrast, if the feed amount is too large,
white bands (pale stripes) appear; press the
(or
button) to adjust the feed amount
downwards.
