Part/Unit that should be removed before removing Main Board Unit.

Document Cover / Panel Unit / Panel Housing / Scanner Unit / Housing Upper

Removal procedure

1.

Remove the screws (x3, 

) for securing Main Board Unit.

2.

Disconnect the following Connector Cables and FFC from the connectors of 
Main Board.

• J9

: PF Motor Connector Cable

• J10

: CR Motor Connector Cable

• J11

: HP/PE Sensor Connector Cable

• J12

: Head FFC

3.

Peel off Grounding Spring Support secured to Main Board Unit by the 
double-sided tape (x1).

4.

Release Main Board Unit from front side of printer, and lift it upwards.

5.

Disconnect PS Connector Cable from connector (J1) of Main Board, and then 
remove Main Board Unit.
