Using the Start Button

Setting up EPSON Scanner Monitor

EPSON Scanner Monitor is software that recognizes when the

 

a

Start button is pressed and sends information to assigned

application software supporting the Start Button feature and
EPSON Scanner Monitor, such as PageManager for EPSON.

Once EPSON TWAIN Pro is installed on an operating system
other than Windows 98 and 2000, EPSON Scanner Monitor is
active and identifies PageManager for EPSON as the application
that allows you to use the Start Button feature. If you need to turn
off Scanner Monitor, or select another application that supports
the Start Button feature, access Scanner Monitor as described
below.

Note:

Application software other than PageManager for EPSON which
supports both EPSON Scanner Monitor and the Start button
feature may be limited.

❏

Windows 98 and 2000 support the Start Button feature; therefore,
EPSON Scanner Monitor is not installed automatically when you
install EPSON TWAIN Pro on Windows 98 or 2000.

For Windows 95 or NT 4.0 users

Click the Scanner Monitor icon located in the task bar on your
desktop.
