Replacing the Drive on the Subassembly

This section describes how to reinstall your hard disk drive in
the vertical mounting position. The following illustrations
show the subassembly installed inside the computer with the
front panel attached. However, if your subassembly is out of
the computer you can install the drive in the manner
described below. Follow these steps:

1. Pick up the hard disk drive and hold it above the right

side of the subassembly with the mounting plate facing
the subassembly, as shown below.

Notice that there are two tabs facing downward on the
bottom of the mounting plate. These tabs will fit into
two slots in the right side of the subassembly.
