2.2 POWER SUPPLY UNIT
The Power Supply unit includes DC regulator, blower fan and interlock switch with
lamp cover.
The Power Supply unit generates the voltage for the control circuit (+3.3V,+5V, +12V,
+22V) and for the ballast (AC power) from AC input
Front temperature thermistor is installed on the side of the power supply inhale fan
and is retained with a clamp on the power supply unit. It detects the temperature, if it
senses overheat, it shuts off the regulator output via the CD10MA board.
Although the outline of its function is shown below, please never disassemble the
power supply unit at the field maintenance service.
