Setting the Country Code for the first Time
To run the Change Country Code utility the first time you boot
your computer from the Reference 1 diskette, follow these steps:
1. Insert the Reference 1 diskette in drive A.
2. Turn on your computer or press the
RESET
button.
3. After a moment, you see a screen describing the Change
Country Code utility. The screen includes the following
message and prompt:
Current country
code is United States.
Change country code? (Y/N)
If you want to select the default country code, United States,
press You see a message telling you that the program
still must update your files. Then the program copies the
files. Go to step 4.
If you want to select another country code, press You see
the following:
