Solutions When Only a Partial Image Appears

If only a partial computer image appears, try the following solutions:

• For VGA connections, press the

Auto

button on the remote control to optimize the image signal.

• Make sure you selected the correct

Screen Type

setting in the projector's Installation menu for the

screen you are using. If there are margins between the edge of the image and the projected screen
frame, use the

Screen Position

setting to adjust the position of the image.

• Make sure the

Scale

setting in the Image menu is turned off.

• Make sure the

Resolution

setting in the Image menu is set correctly for the input signal.

• Try adjusting the image position using the

Position

setting in the Image menu.

• If you adjusted the image size using the

Digital Zoom

setting in the Installation menu, use the

Image

Shift

setting to adjust the image position (PowerLite EB-L630SU/EB-L635SU).

• Try adjusting the image position using the

Screen Position

menu setting.

• Press the

Aspect

button on the remote control to select a different image aspect ratio.

• Change the

Blanking

setting in the Installation menu so that the image appears as you expect.

• If you zoomed into or out of the image using the

E-Zoom

buttons, press the

Esc

button until the

projector returns to a full display (PowerLite EB-L530U/EB-L630U/EB-L630SU/EB-L635SU/EB-
L730U/EB-L735U).

• If you zoomed into or out of the image using the

E-Zoom

buttons, press the

Default

button until the

projector returns to a full display (PowerLite EB-L520U).

• Check your computer display settings to disable dual display and set the resolution within the

projector's limits. (See your computer manual for details.)

• Check the resolution assigned to your presentation files to see if they are created for a different

resolution than you are projecting in. (See your software help for details.)

• Make sure you selected the correct

Projection

setting in the Installation menu.

• If you are projecting in

Content Playback

mode, make sure you are using the correct

Overlay Effect

setting in the Operation > Content Playback menu.
