Adjustments

B i d i r e c t i o n a l P r i n t i n g A d j u s t m e n t

The purpose

adjustment is to correct the printer mechanism parameters

that control bidirectional printing. Be sure to perform this adjustment when

required.

adjustment is not performed correctly, bidirectional printing may

be misaligned, or, in the worst case, the carriage might operate incorrectly.
Before performing this adjustment, be sure that the following adjustments are
completed correctly.

Carriage Timing Belt Tension Adjustment

The GAMMA value is decided by the default setting. Do not change this

MICRO FEED

Press the PAUSE button, and then press the

BETA value automatically.

Caution

When you replace the

board, the correct ALPHA and BETA values will not

have been written to memory. (A value of
