NetWare Basic Configuration
Print Server Mode/NDS/Bindery
Items Explanations
Use NetWare Enable or Disable NetWare.
Frame Type Leave the default frame type (Auto) as it is.
Mode Select an appropriate NetWare mode.
When using 4.x/5.x/6.x NDS Print Server, select
NDS Print Server.
When using 3.x/4.x Bindery Print Server, select
Bindery Print Server.
When using Remote Printer mode, select
Remote Printer.
When not using NetWare, select Standby.
Items Explanations
Print Server Name Enter the print server’s name (up to 47
characters).
Polling Interval Enter the polling interval in seconds.
NetWare Password Enter the password (up to 20 characters) you
use when you log in to the print server.
NDS Tree Name For the NDS Print Server mode only:
Enter the NDS tree name (up to 31 characters).
NDS Context For the NDS Print Server mode only:
Enter the NDS context (up to 255 characters).
Primary File Server
Name For the Bindery Print Server mode only:
Enter the name (up to 47 characters) of the file
server where the print server logs in.
