Use of parts of non-EPSON specifications, improper mounting, damage, distortion, dirt,
adherence of foreign matter?
*Main parts to check
P/H MOTOR ASSY, HEAT ROLL, PRESSURE ROLL, FUSER ASSY, BELT CLEANER ASSY,
EXIT LOWER ASSY, FEED ROLL ASSY, MAIN P/H ASSY, WASTE TONER BOX, 2ND BTR
CAM ASSY, AUGER HIGH ASSY, MCU PWB
Replace and remount the
concerned part(s).
Go to step 2.

*Engine and controller division check
Can a test print (single sheet / consecutive printing, about 10 sheets each) be performed
normally with the engine alone?
Printer controller check (If
an error still occurs after
replacing, go to step 3.)
Go to step 3.

* P/H Motor operation check
When the test print is conducted, does the P/H Motor slightly operate and stop?
Go to step 5. Go to step 4.

*P/H Motor operation check
When the test print is conducted, does the P/H Motor stop?
Go to FIP-2.31 Replace the MCU PWB.

*Drive transmission check
Does the rotor of the P/H MOTOR ASSY turn smoothly?
• Check by turning the rotor of the P/H MOTOR ASSY in the counterclockwise direction
with your hand.
Go to step 6.
Replace the P/H MOTOR
ASSY.

*FUSER ASSY check
Do the HEAT ROLL and PRESSURE ROLL turn smoothly?
• Check by turning INPUT GEAR FT1 with your hand.
Go to step 7. Replace the faulty part(s).

*BELT CLEANER ASSY check
Does the BELT CLEANER ASSY turn smoothly?
• Check by turning the gear with your hand.
Go to step 8.
Replace the BELT
CLEANER ASSY.

*EXIT LOWER ASSY check
Does the EXIT LOWER ASSY turn smoothly?
• Check by turning the EXIT IDLER GEAR with your hand.
Go to step 9. Replace the faulty part(s).
