4.3 Activate the machine
The activating of the machine happens in 4 steps.
4.3.1
Release EMERGENCY STOP control
By moving the emergency stop control in direction of arrow, it jumps out
of his interlock. Now the machine is operable.
4.3.2
Turning direction choice
The turning direction is adjustable with the turning direction choice
switch. In the middle position 0 the motor does not start. Adjust the
switch corresponding marking at R for clockwise rotation and L for
anticlockwise direction.
4.3.3
Speed choice
The set rotation speed has to be adjusted with
the speed lever (left) during running.
4.3.4
Close chip protection
Click the chip protection in front of the drilling
spindle.
4.3.5
Close belt cover
The belt cover has to be closed and assured against opening for the
use.
4.3.6
Activating
The machine is connected with the ON switch at the control panel.
The drilling spindle runs with the chosen number of speeds (and
direction).
4.3.7
Deactivating
Push the EMERGENCY STOP control.
4.4 Hand drive
The machine only knows the mode hand drive.
Connect the gear and accomplish the bore by guide of the feed lever.
4.5 Adjust depth stop
The depth stop is construed at the left side of the head as actuator of the centre
sleeve
Adjust the tool to the material height
Read the scale
Add the drilling depth
Adjust the arrester clamp of the scale at the real drilling depth
Arrest the clamping.
