9.2 Replacing worn rubber
isolators
HC 150
n
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses between the motor
and the valve block from the hydraulic motor.
n
Remove the screws from the four compaction plate
pads.
n
Lift away the outer housing with rubber isolators still
fitted.
n
Remove the nuts securing rubber isolators to the
outer housing.
n
Replace any worn rubber isolators.
n
Fit new lock washer/washer onto each screw/
threaded rod.
n
Secure the rubber isolators to the outer housing with
the right tightening torques (see chapter
Screw con-
nections / Tightening torques
).
n
Fit the outer housing.
n
Screw the compaction plate pads to the rubber isola-
tors with the right tightening torques (see chapter
Screw connections / Tightening torques
).
n
Reconnect the hydraulic hoses between the motor
and the valve block to the hydraulic motor.
HC 350, HC 450, HC 850, HC 1050
n
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses between the motor
and the valve block from the hydraulic motor.
n
Loosen the nuts from the compaction plate pads
screws.
n
Remove the screws from the compaction pads.
n
Lift away the outer housing with rubber isolators still
fitted.
n
Loosen the nuts from the outer housing screws.
n
Remove the screws.
n
Replace any worn rubber isolators.
n
Fit a new lock washer onto each screw.
n
Insert the screws through the rubber buffer and outer
bracket holes.
n
Secure the screws with the nuts.
