In this configuration the Eth 1 and Eth 2 interfaces act like a 2-port

hub allowing the video capture workstation to connect to the

network.
For best performance you should connect the video capture

workstation to Eth 1 and the Ethernet network to Eth 2. Also, the

overhead required to forward packets between Eth 1 and Eth 2

can affect the video capture performance of the device. You can

temporarily improve performance by disconnecting Eth 2 from

the network.
