To attach the bracket to
the rails of your seatpost, remove
one or two of the black-anodized
screws from the alloy frame. (Also
enclosed are the original silver
screws from Minoura, which you
may use as back-ups.) Orient the
backplate as shown with the wider
side down. Slip the back plate
into position on top of the rails.
Be sure to keep the lock washers
in place near the screw head. Also
refer to the enclosed instructions
from Minoura.
S T E P 2
Keep the gray webbing
& female buckle centered between
the two screws.
When tightening
down the bolts,
don’t over do it
—it
only needs to hold a bag, not
the weight of a person! Using a
long T-handle Allen wrench makes
the job easier. (You may have
better luck by removing the entire
seatpost.)
If you are using the Wide Rail
Bracket Adapter for Brooks-type
saddles, refer to that specific
instruction sheet.

Orient the L bracket as
shown, i.e. like an up-side-down
“L.” The exact angle of the bracket
is determined by the angle of the
rails at the rear of your saddle and
may differ from model to model.

Take the
thick
pair of
Velcro loop tabs on your bag and
slip them through the pair of
nylon rectangular Uniloops (look
for
red
webbing on newer some
models).

Wrap the Velcro back onto itself,
instead of on the back side of the
bracket.

The roll top bags have
an elastic “hold open strap” which
serves two purposes:
1. It is for keeping the bag upright
will filling or accessing. Pull it over
nose of your saddle. When you roll
up the bag, tuck this strap into
the roll.
2. The Rolltop bags can also be
used off the bike & not connected
to a bracket, as a shoulder bag.
Roll down the bag and slip this
elastic over the top of the bag &
clip it to a D-ring to keep the top
closed while using the bag.

(See photo
on page 1). The top row of webbing
with reflective tape is for attaching
either the Reflective Yield Symbol
(#3624-0EO) or the Piggy-back
Pocket 2.5 (#2125-K00). Some
use it for attaching blinky lights,
but the angle of the light can
vary when attached to any soft
bag, so we suggest attaching
them to your seat stays instead.
The D-rings for attaching apparel
or gear like a spare tire. Use a
pair of optional D-rings Straps
(#2445-KMD).
The thin black webbing near
the bottom is for attaching the
bottom Velcro straps of a Yield
Symbol or the Piggy-back pocket.
