Getting Started

4.1

User Interface

The STACK 710 is operated from the User Interface in the Transceiver. The User
Interface has four function keys and four illuminated indicators.

The  liquid  crystal  display  normally  indicates  the  opacity  measured  by  the
instrument.  Error  messages  and  other  parameters  can  also  be  displayed,  as
explains  in  a  later  section.  The  displayed  opacity  is  corrected  for  Pathlength
Correction Factor (PLCF). The PLCF is factory set and cannot be changed by the
customer (see section C1- ).
