• Do not work on any material containing asbestos.
• Do not pull out the glue stick.
• Avoid the risk of injury or fire as well as healthy risks. The
nozzle and glue reach a temperature of 170 ºC. Do not touch
the nozzle or the hot glue. Do not allow the hot glue to come
into contact with people or animals. In case of contact with
skin, rinse the affected part in cold running water for a few
minutes. Do not attempt to remove the adhesive from the skin.
• Ask our service centre to carry out any work that is not
described in these instructions. Use only original parts.
Special safety instructions for battery-operated appliances
a) Recharge the batteries indoors only because the battery
charger is designed for indoor use only.
b) To reduce the electric shock hazard, unplug the battery
charger from the mains before cleaning the charger.
c) Do not subject the battery to strong sunlight over long
periods and do not leave it on a heater. Heat damages the
battery and there is a risk of explosion.
d) Allow a hot battery to cool before charging.
e) Do not open up the battery and avoid mechanical damage to
the battery. Risk of short circuit and fumes may be emitted
that irritate the respiratory tract. Ensure fresh air and seek
medical assistance the event of discomfort.
f) Do not use non-rechargeable batteries!
g) The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is
scrapped.
h) The appliance must be disconnected form the supply mains
when removing the battery.
i) The battery is to be disposed of safely.
j) This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable.
