Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your appliance will keep it safe and in proper working order.

. Before cleaning.
When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply.

Cleaning

Remove dead insects from the appliance once per week with the brush supplied. Gently
brush dead insects from grill. Do not use metal objects or stick fingers through safety
screen. Gently shake dead insects from appliance and discard. Regularly clean the
outside of the appliance with a soft cloth and dry it with a dry towel. Do not immerse in
water. Do not use harsh solvents to clean the plastic.

Ventilation safety

Always keep the ventilation safety slots on the front and rear of the appliance clear from
blockage. Failure to keep these vents clear may result in overheating.
4.
Damage check.
Always check that the appliance is in good working condition and all guards are secure.
Check the power supply cord and plug regularly for damage.
Lamp Replacement
IMPORTANT: Before replacing lamp, unplug unit from mains power and wait one minute.
1.
Using a Philips Head screwdriver, remove two screws from lamp cover on the
bottom of unit (Fig 1.) and gently remove lamp cover.
2.
Gently twist plastic lamp grip anti-clockwise to unscrew and remove lamp (Fig 2).
3.
Remove and replace the lamp using spare lamp BZ30G.
4.
Reposition lamp cover, insert and tighten screws.
