Use this battery charger only on lead-acid type rechargeable batteries or VRLA type.
Never charge other type of batteries such as LI-ION battery or NiMH/NiCd battery packs (other types may
explode and burst).
Please make sure your battery voltage matches your charger label.
This battery charger is for indoor use only. NEVER expose the battery charger to rain, snow, spray, or
bilge water or any other form of liquid.
Keep the battery charger away from the radiator, heat register or other heat source when charging.
Always provide a wide area around the battery for proper ventilation during charging.
Never charge a frozen battery.
Never overcharge a battery.
Do not operate the battery charger if it has received an impact, been dropped, has cracks or openings in
the enclosure, or is otherwise damaged in any other way.
Do not disassemble charger if it doesn’t work; take it to a qualified service professional if service or repair
is required.
WARNING:
working in the vicinity of a lead-acid battery is dangerous. Batteries generate explosive gases during
normal battery operation. For this reason, it is of utmost importance that you follow the instructions each
time you use the charger.
NEVER smoke or allow a spark or flame in the vicinity of a battery or engine.
Remove personal metal items such as rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches when working with
a lead-acid battery.
Wear complete eye and body protection, including safety goggles and protective clothing. Avoid
touching your eyes while working near the battery.
If battery acid contacts your skin or clothing, immediately wash the area with soap and water. If
acid enters your eye, immediately flood the eye with cold running water for at least 10 minutes and
get medical attention right away.

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
WARNING:
Failure to follow these instructions can damage the unit and/or other
equipment and cause physical injury.
Connect the power plug of the battery charger; the LED indicator will turn GREEN,
indicating that the battery charger is on and ready for use.
Connect the battery charger to the battery; the LED indicator will turn RED, indicating
that the charger is now in charging operation.
The LED indicator will turn GREEN when the battery is fully charged. You can unplug the
battery charger from the battery and power cord.
Charging can be interrupted at any time by disconnecting the battery charger's power cord.
If you encounter any unknown operating problem, immediately disconnect the battery
charger and contact a qualified technician.
This user guide does not contain any detail on any particular brand of battery. Follow the
instructions provided by the battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of any equipment
you intend to use in the vicinity of the battery.
